Biotts is a Poland-based drug delivery and biotech company operating on two fronts. We develop proprietary transdermal drug candidates through our MTC-Y™ carrier platform, and we provide R&D and laboratory services to pharmaceutical and biotech partners. We operate a GMP-certified R&D facility with strong analytical capabilities.
What We Do
Proprietary Transdermal Drug Development
We develop transdermal patches (TTS) and topical formulations by reformulating Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) – including selected peptides – into controlled, sustained-release dosage forms. Our MTC-Y™ technology is designed as a versatile carrier system, supporting delivery of both lipophilic and hydrophilic compounds. Our current pipeline focuses on metabolic therapies and pain management, with select programs progressing to early clinical evaluation.
The same workflows, analytical standards, and formulation expertise we apply to our own transdermal candidates are the foundation of our R&D services to partners.
Formulation & Analytical R&D Services
For pharmaceutical and biotech partners, Biotts serves as an extended R&D team providing formulation development, analytical support, and laboratory testing across multiple dosage forms – including oral solids, semi-solids, and transdermal systems.
Our multidisciplinary team follows structured workflows to generate data packages that support regulatory submissions and partner decision-making.
Our Approach
We structure projects around clear scopes, milestones, and deliverables designed to support decision-making at each stage. Our workflow follows a stage-gated approach: we define objectives and success criteria upfront, execute studies to generate decision-ready data, and deliver documentation that can be used to support regulatory submissions or business development discussions.
This allows partners to make informed go/no-go decisions at defined checkpoints based on tangible results rather than assumptions. We adapt to each partner’s timeline and priorities, functioning as a reliable, science-driven extension of their internal capabilities.
